The body is designed to have the head, rib cage and the pelvis perfectly balanced upon one another – this is true on both the front few and the side view. If your posture is off this balanced position, then the spine is also deviated from its healthy position. This can lead to many health conditions such has scoliosis, work injuries, back pain, neck pain, headaches, sports injuries, shoulder and ankle injuries as well as many other health problems.
As postural problems tend to worsen with age, if detected in childhood- they should be corrected as early as possible to prevent future problems.
