I’ll Huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down, Said the big, bad Wolf in the story of the three little pigs, we all know that from childhood. What’s that story, What’s the three little pigs got to do with our health? Well, stick around and find out. My name is Dr. Tony Rose and I’m your Hawthorn chiropractor here from Auburn south chiropractic.
In this video, I’m going to share the secret between the Three little pigs and your health, stick around. We all know the story of the three little pigs. There was the pig that built his house out of straw. There was the pig that built his house out of sticks. And then there was the pig that built his house out of bricks. We all know that the big bad Wolf came in and blew the straw house down, blew the stick house down, but couldn’t blow down the brick house and this fundamental principle of building something that can withstand the forces that are being applied to it has everything to do with your health. And I think is the reason why in the current climate that people are getting it all wrong.
Let me explain. If your health, if your body, if your immune system was built from straw, how would it handle the world out there? How would it handle cold and heat? How would it handle bacteria viruses? How would it handle falling over? How would it handle sitting hunched at a computer? How would it handle the stress of life in our Western culture? I’m going to take a stab and say, not very well. If our health was built of sticks, how would it handle those things? A little bit better, but probably wouldn’t survive. If our health was built of bricks, a solid foundation to then withstand, all the things that are being bombarded on us every single day, I would bet it’s going to handle it with no problem at all. Now this is our body’s internal resistance or adaptability. Can our bodies resist and adapt to what’s being thrown at it to what’s being thrown at it from a stress point of view, from a life point of view from the bacteria, the virus has all things that are acting on our system and our body would say, no problem. I can deal with that. And it does. And so this being the three little pig foundation of health, make sure that your body and your health is built out of bricks. This is the secret.
So what’s that got to do with me? Well, as a chiropractor, having a balanced body, having a body that has Level foundations and great posture, the spine In alignment, making sure the communication between your brain and your body is working effectively and efficiently is a foundation to having your health built out of bricks. And then as we add more bricks of nutrition and exercise and mental attitude and sleep and, relationships, all of these things build your health, your life, your body from bricks.
